    Interface CloudflareConfiguration

The Cloudflare half of the configuration surface.

Adding a binding-backed module means adding one entry here and one default in cloudflareDefaults — and nothing in the kernel.

The one entry here that is not a binding, and the only place this package overrides a kernel default rather than adding to it. Cloudflare stamps the service name, the severity, the message and the trigger onto every record before storing it, so a Worker repeating them pays to ingest columns it already has. The kernel cannot know that — which runtime records what is exactly the knowledge an adapter exists to hold, and keeping the judgement here is what lets the kernel stay honest on a platform that records nothing.
